    Between language barriers, stupid people and basic misunderstandings, it can sometimes be a bit tough to communicate which PW and which difficulty you are talking about. This was my idea that popped into my head earlier. If you like it, use it. It should start clearing up confusion on the servers.

    It is really quite simple. We already use Q1, Q2, Q3, etc to refer to the areas in the order they are completed. I simply suggest adding I, II, or III to the end. You end up with things like Q1I or Q4III or Q2II and there is no question which area and difficulty you are talking about. Used in a group name, it tells people exactly what you are working on. This is also expandable if they ever add more PWs and we'd end up with Q8I or Q9III. No need to reinvent the wheel and no need to translate.

    Man oh man, sometime I want to kill everyone on Grimmag for using hardest, lethal, fathal, fatal, extreme etc for the same III :)

    yeah the geniuses from other languages translated differently. So you'll have 10 names for the same difficulty when you translate back to english.
    Lately I've seen many people adapting to this by using "mode 1" , "mode 2" , "mode 3"
    Simple works best

    Only to put some ironic comments ... done every level in any Q many times, and currently my personal classification is:

    mode 1 - Normal
    mode 2 - Useless
    mode 3 - Idiot

    As resulting from actual drop quality and quantity versus mob's damage, resistance and life amount.

    GMTI Baragain. I was thinking of something very similar yesterday. I just didnt like the Q association since more maps are invloved than previous PW version although it is easily translatable. I started doing Arach3 or Grimm2 or Khal3. In fact all the end bosses have unique letters so that could be shortened to A3, G2 etc, but would of course take some training and acceptand. Your idea follows what people know already.

    Well ... we can't use the terms like "Q6 m2 5 KN" anymore :D

    Ground Moving Target Indication? LOL

    Most of the good abbreviations are taken and overworked. Language differences do not make it any easier.
    It would be very helpful if DSO use adequate and sufficient descriptions in the group menu. That way location names will shorten and evolve from the same base. And, let's keep the official terms in English, since this is English forum.

    I like the idea of Group names.

    I would suggest doing something slightly different but the other idea Q1III is a really good one.

    Group Names

    F = Farm quest 1 where you do not have access to the 2nd map.
    Q = Killing all the way to Boss rinse and repeat.

    1 - 5 = are the zones by order of unlockablity.

    ! = Painful
    I! = Excuceating
    I!I = Fatal

    Example.

    F3!
    Q5I!
    F4I!I

    I have no idea why anyone would want to spend more time farming a map but hey who knows...

    Concise but too difficult to be understood by whole world, MegaNuker.

    I guess the target here is to establish a simple convention to use in region chat, to avoid announcements like this:

    q1 excr/medium/mode 2 all maps + boss, 2 slots open for mage or dwarf
    q3 fatal hard mode3 fast farm Heredur only, inv me tank war 1h

    So the simplest is for sure, and for all languages easy to adopt, to shorten&clear at least the 1st part of announcements:

    q12 all maps + boss, 2 slots open for mage or dwarf
    q33 fast farm Heredur only, inv me tank war one-hand

    and for further refining, something more short but hoping quite clear:

    q12 all, 2 slots SW/SM
    q33 H, lfg DK1h

    where lfg should be known as standard string for "looking for group" ... at least in every MMORPG i played so far ^^

    Clearly, as said by BigPapa, for end bosses it's only a matter of general agrrement to achieve the final shortening:

    q13 heading to Grimmag fatal -> q13G -> G3
    q22 heading to Arachna excruciating -> q22A -> A2
    q31 heading to Heredur painful -> q31H -> H1
    q41 heading to Bearach painful -> q41B -> B1
    q52 heading to Khalys excruciating -> q52K -> K2
    q63 heading to Mortis fatal -> q63M -> M3
