trakilaki that longbow is godly. especially with your royals :eek::eek::eek::eek:
i will never get that many royals.
    or that longbow...

but, I am working on a 4/4 speed shortbow and already have two 18.1 and a 17 stat and lots and lots of 12-14s ;)
and surprisingly, i found two 3/3 speed drops with 12,12,9 and 12,9,9 as fatal q3m1 drops today - good fodder i guess

does anyone already have such a thing? I'm convinced a lvl55/lvl60 cap increase would make that sort of speed godly - because of the dmg increase, existing iwd stats will be useless/at least outdated....

unless y'all plan on paying up some serious glyphs ;)

p.s.- in theory, it is possible to get 80% speed on a shortbow with 5 slots and an adornment with 5 slots, and a 40% speed glove. and 40% from wisdom. and 5x jewel of timeless rage (2% each)

which works out to 80+70+70+40+40+10= 310%. shortbow speed (1.05) x 4.1 = 4.305 atk speed? is there even a breakpoint there?

or am i just doing this math in the wrong order...

IF Increase weapon dmg enchantment will be outdated along with the upcoming lvl cap rise, what would happen to increase speed enchantment? No matter what, pure speed build is useless.

    BTW speed cap is 4.0.

Almost? That is 0.55% damage and 0.01% attack speed away from being "perfect" with those stats. That is a bow that many would kill for.

I think the result is the same as before: you can one-shot people who can one-shot you

Well ... all my enchantments are relative % except one ... who knows I may be able to transfer them into new bow :p

I don't think so ... the possibility people to one-shot me has been significantly lowered down :D

It is nice to see this though... makes you realize that the Darkness set wasn't as big of a deal as some people made it out to be. Congrats, and I'm sure that it will serve you well on your path to LVL 55.

ty. darkness want a big deal at all. I crafted that 'equipped' one long time ago.

Not sure about lvl55 though. new items will have additional lines making this one temporary at most

Why? You can use it and even craft it...after the expansion ;)

I guess I'll be the first to post a post R185 crafting success.

I wanted to do a proof of concept to make sure crafting old items with new items worked as I expected. After a couple of failures, I got lucky beyond belief.

This is good, but it gets better.

There is a display bug (mods, you taking notes?). That gold HP line is actually from a gold 1049 HP line on one of the LVL 52 items.

But when I accepted the craft, it reverted to the proper scaled down version of 1049 at LVL 51 and I got a gold line of 985
    [IMG]

For those that don't want to do the math, that is 39.45% attack speed along with the base stats. :) This puts my speed up to 1.65 with no points spent in attack speed. Thank god for sapphires.

Some people have asked why I didn't wait to craft them with LVL 55 gloves to get a LVL 53 product, but I figure since attack speed is a % and not flat like + crit, this was a safer test. When I get to LVL 55, that is when I'll start working on crafting my + crit lines into LVL 53 items to get some free upgrades and to get stats on a belt that are not available anymore. Also, a little bit of mixing +% and % crit on a weapon decoration could be really nice too. :D

This information should make you happy. You can pass those lines on and get the base stats of a new helmet.

hey baragain so this new craft system does it take like a gold line from each item or what lol i couldnt figure it out also. i think its better to make low lvl % line cause then u can upgrade it for cheaper gop no? also i heard if you craft new items with % that % from old item wont go up when you upgrade it can you confirm ?

There is better option - passing them to unique item all at once, for example heredur helmet making it lvl55 t4 helmet with set bonuses and all lines I need, plus its not random.

It follows the same logic as the old crafting system except there is one more "enchantment" that needs to transfer... the base stats. All four items on the bench have base stats (even if it is an old ring with "nothing" as it's base), and one of them transfers to the new item. If you are trying to maximize your base stats, then that means you need to consider your enchantments on your two recoverable items, but you also need to pick junk items with desirable base stats in the hopes that you pass them on too.

For example, in the above craft, if I had gotten a base stat of 103 (rounded up to LVL 51) transfer and had still gotten the 4x speed lines, I'd have likely reverted since my goal was to get the base stats on the final product. To put it into perspective, I only had a 0.82% (1 in 120) chance of getting all four of the enchantments to be gold lines from the first two items. Breaking that down, I had a 0.41% chance of getting the 103 armor base stats (which would have been a total failure) and a 0.205% chance of getting either of the new types of base stats, but only one of those had the gold HP line. So, I had about a 1:488 chance of that craft going totally my way as opposed to a substandard result.

That used to be true, before left hand side items had base stats. But now that they do, you need every little bit of armor, hp, resist, etc that those items have to offer. Sure, you could save gold in the crafting process by crafting low level items, but unless you have more glyphs than you can use, you would wast too many to bring it up to useful strength. Better to craft it right to begin with.

That is part of what I meant.

Still, farming that T4 helmet will take a long time and IV PWs won't be available for another month and even then you'll need strong enough gear to farm those new PWs (where they have 1600% HP and 700% damage) to get the ingredients for the crafting... It could take a while... months possibly.

    You can't do that .
You must transfer them to new leg item first.

I was worried about that... yeah, it would be hard then. Recraft the whole thing...
Well, I solo T3 easy. Heredur takes a while on blue, 1400 ess, but its doable. With tank was much longer) had him on the ground until the end as he couldnt tank him at all)

So guess t4 would be just longer. I still have my guardian to go through the map. Have plenty of blue, which I dont need at t3. Already have 20k hp in glass canon mode. Just need to get crit back to where it was.

But yeah, the whole thing will take months.
