    OK thanks, I didn't read it carefully I see. 0.005 is clear that was an extremism but 1% is much higher than my personal experience says, ofc referring to those uniques who have any meaning.

    Regarding the cloaks, I did not read in the patchnote that the farm should be performed by bosses in normal maps and not in parallel ones. So should we prepare ourself to collect thousands of keys again? I feel like throwing up just at the idea.

    From what I have seen on TS ... it is not how it works.
    1. All bosses drop Golden Yarn from infernal above.
    2. If the drops are same as on TS ... those golden Yarns are dropping rarer than unique items, so don't expect them to farm them.
    On the other hand you will be farming Yarn (regular) form bosses since they drop stacks of x5 on all difficulties but higher difficulties presumably have higher drop chance. (I haven't played the last 2 TS versions so the stack amount could be changed)
    3. You will be crafting Golden Yarns from regular Yarns.

    All in all ... bosses on lower difficulties would be way to farm Yarn.


    As for R220 ...
    I was always against buying equipment from merchants ... even before they introduced the merchants.
    Merchants are just a way to decrease the drop rates and quality of the items.
    Unique items should be only dropping but at reasonable rates.
    As for the increased difficulty and the increased time making runs ... well nothing will change for me. I was playing x10 times longer runs even until now, since I am using 1H bow and there are no reliable 1H bows, so it doesn't really make a difference to me if my run takes two hours or two and a half hours.
    Making bosses having "special immunity" like in example Khalys depleting resource points in half ... is only further affecting players playing with other set than the toxic Q7 set. Devs should make a note to everyone making a new character "you will have to use Q7 set or you better don't even start playing" in the character creation screen.
    Introducing new level of grinding where unique items could be only crafted is "much exciting". Now instead of looking for cloak drops people should pray they get a frag ... which would be super rare (like Nefertiti's robe fabric and Amon-Ra's Panty Elastic Waistband) so they would have to craft at the end ... and be super excited with the stats outcome.
    As for the regular cloaks ... until R220 v.5 or v.6 the cloak crafting was bugged ...
    Cloaks would be useful in PvP since we can now overcome DK's crit on shields.

    Stupid question: practical difference between yarn and golden yarn? Yarn is used to create golden yarn and golden yarn to create cloaks?

    Outcome random stats if I right understood. Maybe the super rare cloak frag will be given as a final reward for yet another hyper-boring event. Even considering that every boss will have its own unique cloak (need the frag as well??) it promises to be a scourging.

    Yarn is used in the process of crafting regular cloaks and Golden Yarn.
    Golden Yarn is used in the process of crafting Unique Cloaks.

    i am curious: they say they increased unique drop rates

    I would like to know the exact percentages of the drops rates for before r220 and after r220
    Why are they being so secretive about them? Do they have something to hide?

    In the past they have increased the drop rate only to later on reduce it and I fully expect that this time will be no different. The dev's are incredibly predictable.

    Somehow when I reviewed the patchnotes, I overlooked the adorable idea of making your items look like other items. Of course this has been a staple in other games for a long time now, and the main thing that DSO dev's do the most, it is copy other games.

    If there had not been a single important thing to add or fix in this game, changing the skin on your gear may seem like time well spent, but can anyone say that this was high on their list of wants?

    Even if the drop rate were 5%, it's still super low for non-hardcore players, right?
    But it doesn't matter. A new player needs cores and successful crafting anyway to make the unique actually usable, so by the time he's got enough cores and whatnot, he'll have dropped the desired unique. Hopefully. Sorry, just trying to look for positives :]

    Transmog could be nice, though. Let's forget for a moment that there are much more pressing issues - just recently I've got the Ancient Atlantis set from M'Edusa and I thought, my gosh, the chest part mainly looks so good; shame it's a trash set for end-game :/ So being able to use these items as a costume, would be pretty cool.
    Yes, it's an idea from many other games, but... so what, it's ok :] Yes, they should work on other things, but.. like the same thing can be said about the new cloaks and stuff, too :/


    Btw. When is the r220 coming?

    He's a pessimist on everything though. And that's not only him.
    People are so angry at the game that they've already lost all the hope and the only thing they can do is hating on it... and tbh I kind of understand them. The only part of the dev team that does the job well enough is the art department. Aside of that, all we have are bugs, unfinished features (or could I say features and unfinished bugs? it's so fluent that it's the same with them) and changes in the wrong direction. Well, 1% of purely good stuff that disappears in the pile of bad and unfinished stuff.

    Probably the next week if we have this official feedback thread and the patchnotes.
    I'd bet tuesday or wednesday.

    So "elite mobs factor" affect monster's HP also in painful/lethal (peharps also in normal)

    Boss HP base in PW: 1+1,15 = 2,15
    HP Factor INF4 (R220% / R219%) : 8500/3000 = 2,83

    So in INF4 bosses have six times more life than now (2.15*2.83) and they have better armor/resistances

    I'm slightly disappointed with July events :/ Time of insight/solidarity and similar are not really events, and PvE leaderboard starts at the end of July, so while there will be (almost) nothing to do in July, August will be crammed, because PvE LB, Anniversary, and perhaps even Undefeatables(?) - deducing from the Q2 roadmap :|

    *But maybe it's good for people going on vacation or something, I get that :]

    Got exactly the same feel.

    It really looks like they want people to go in massive amounts on vacation.

    They want simply to give some obligatory vacation, so that we'd take a good rest after all those grindfests and the like. The only little problem is that after we are back, there will be even more grinding in August.

    Hey, this is just normal. How many months of emptiness have there been before June? June was the exception.

    To produce contents you need to work, even if it consists of small things, because it would be enough to resurrect some event of the past - even some refill event - to make us happy. Instead it is much easier not to work on this game - I don't say they are shirkers, but they are likely working in something else or even more simply going directly to the bankruptcy, who knows - and continue telling us that this month is yet another prelude to great epic news ... that again who knows if ever and when will arrive.

    Ye the game does look fairly good, but - and maybe this is another argument for transmog - a lot of armor pieces look pretty bad, especially in combination with different sets. I always think most players look like bad clowns because of the usual combo of dragan + q7 gloves + some cape that does not match visually + maybe q8 torso that looks awful especially when dyed, imo.

    Though I'm actually not sure if I should be looking forward to it. I have a feeling I'll be forced back to fatal :|

    Speaking of grinding, I once heard this:

    "Yeah but there's bad grind and good grind!"
    I'm having this image of how in PoE they have these auras or something, or spinning attacks that they just activate and run and everything dies instantly. Would that be more enjoyable?
    It feels ...well, interesting, if you as a ranger kill a monster with DB on a normal map, say Twilight Downs, your poisonous aura activates and you just run around and everything that comes close to you dies immediately :] I wonder how cool that would be on infernal modes lol

    But anyways, the direction in DSO seems to be opposite to that^. R220 adds so much more HP to leaders and bosses, so top players will be slowed down, and weaker players will not have a chance hehe.


    Hmm yeah, they could have simply just used some old event, or at least run the LB season...

    I wonder how many active players and payers there are.
    From their roadmap thing, it seems they don't really want to just end the game.

    And I also wonder, considering PW Gorga is planned this year, if they want to make every single boss as a PW boss, and if they also plan a big expansion in the future...

    Besides, undefeatables could fit in july, they could just copy paste the last event with a few minor tweaks

    Exist anyone else here, or iam the one who made ..10k kills in khalys , 5k kills when mortis was hard etc etc
    So my Question is Why a new players must have everything ...how many times this company this develps must hit the old players ..
    This Release must come months before and not now but is never too late..
    I watch many post and i notice 1 thing ..They want fast to be an end game players and really this game give this for free ...
    In this game if a player had a good guild in one month he was equal at pvp with a players who play 6 or 7 years this game ..What a feeling!!!!!!!

    This Release for me seperate the players...if a noobic player , a new players want a gear must have a charachter first and not by once ..step by step like all who we make the same..

    If inf5 come this release make the difference also at pvp ...

    This is my opinion
    and ofcourse the bad is once more we dont have changes at current pvp .

    However I can easily imagine that for the r220 it will be a matter of little by now, hence they expect to commit us for July to pick up yarn and hopefully to die a lot while trying to do it.

    All in all it can be tolerable, if it really serves to make us ready to create beautiful cloaks in August: but it is another thing about which, for what I read in the comments of those on TS, I feel to doubt. However I am always extremely critical by nature, as well as happy if the fact ever prove I was wrong. We will see soon.

    i love how BP shills have to pretend that apparently if you get the unique you're an end game character, ignoring all the ******** you have to go through to craft the leggendaries to put on the uniques and other grind: MR shill, the trader after the death of the boss is just a bandaid for the real problem which is abysmal drops rates of uniques from the bosses
    Sure, remove the trader but solve the problem then, which means massively increase the drop rates of uniques, which is especially needed now given that uniques have random value
    This is what trakilaki suggested in prior posts in the thread

    Also no, in no way in one month you're equal with players who played in 6 or 7 years in pvp, you're lying through your teeth, MR shill

    And since you mentioned the fact of tons of Mortis or Khalys kills, maybe the problem is actually the bad drop rates and not the trader?I guess BP shills don't have enough IQ to realize that
